  • Fact 1 : Seeds which have wings, especially like helicopter blades, are carried away by the wind.
  • Fact 2 : Seeds which have hairy parachutes on them are carried by the wind.
  • Fact 3 : Examples would be the sycamore, ash, maple, lime, dandelion and the thistle.
  • Fact 4 : When seed pods dry, they split open suddenly and shooting the seeds away from the parent plant.
