It begins to change back again from a vapour into a liquid. The clouds change from white and fluffy to grey and dense. As the breezes blow the clouds inland they rise and cool even more. The water falls as rain, hail or snow. It flows downhill in streams and rivers. Trees also give off water vapour which rises up into the sky. As it rises it begins to cool and form clouds of water vapour. It collects in hollows like lakes and reservoirs. The warm water changes into a gas and begins to rise. Some of the water soaks down through the rocks. The rivers eventually flow back into the sea. The Sun heats up the surface of the sea.
