Another example are wheelchair ramps which provide access for people with mobility limitations to buildings and transport.
Slides and waterslides are examples of inclined planes used to move down. However, this example is of an emergency exit of an aircraft.
Loading ramps are examples of inclined planes being used for loading and unloading goods onto trucks, ships, and planes.
An example of a circular ramp as shown here, provide a gradual incline to move between floors, requiring less force than a vertical climb.
Inclined planes are now used for recreation in skateboard parks as you can see here.
In construction ramps are used to move equipment and materials. In this example workers are moving the blocks of stone to build a pyramid.
The use of inclined planes for roads and hills provide gradual inclines for vehicles to climb. The example here would not be possible to climb without sections of inclined planes.
In this example you can see how much easier it is to climb a ladder which is at an incline than one which is vertical.
