Connect and insert the tent poles into the corresponding flaps in the tent. Recheck position and direction. Make sure all tent pegs are secure Add on the fly sheet, if you have one. Check that all of the pieces of the tent have been used. Decide where you are going to put your tent and in which position. Think about wind, sun direction and view. Stake the tent to the ground making sure that the groundsheet is tight, corner to corner. Unpack and lay out all of the pieces of the tent on a plastic sheet with the instructions. Raise the tent and put all sleepng bags and rucsacks into the tent. Check the comfort of your bed. Check that the ground is flat and even with no stones or debris that will disturb your sleep.
