It is Winter, which begins at the beginning of December and lasts until the end of February.
In this picture the Northern Hemisphere is side on to the Sun and is therefore getting warmer.

It is Spring, which begins at the beginning of March and lasts until the end of May.
In this picture the Northern Hemisphere is pointing towards the Sun and is therefore at its warmest.

It is Summer which begins at the beginning June and lasts until the end of August.
In this picture the Northern Hemisphere is side on to the Sun and is therefore cooler.

It is Autumn which begins at the beginning of September and lasts until the end of November.
